NE-03 · The Work · three organizations

Where we've done it before.

Three organizations, three real problems: an insurer drowning in claims email, an airport taxi queue nobody could predict, and the internal platform an entire consultancy runs on. Different industries — the same job of turning a slow, manual process into one that runs itself.

01 · Hellas Direct · client #0 — ran their AI lab

Hellas Direct

★ Best AI Initiative · Digital Finance Awards 2026

A motor insurer with 500k+ customers, drowning in claims email. Michael set up and ran their AI lab, and shipped the systems that read every claim, understand the documents, and open the case — end to end.

The outcome: a claim that took a handler 25 minutes now takes 5, thousands of claims handled, and every decision on record so any claim can be audited later. The systems run in production today.

  • 25→5min / claim
  • 2,000+claims processed
  • 500k+customers served
  • 3systems in production

02 · IBM · workshop

IBM

How long will a taxi wait at Chicago's airport — and when should the next one be sent? We developed a solution for taxi waiting and dispatching, and delivered it to IBM as a workshop.

The queue costs money on both sides: travellers stuck waiting, drivers idling for a fare that isn't coming. The workshop walked through the solution end to end — the problem, what the data says, and how dispatch decisions change once you can predict the wait.

03 · Netcompany · internal platform

Netcompany

One of Europe's biggest IT consultancies. Michael worked on their biggest internal platform — the system their own people run the company on.

When thousands of colleagues depend on one platform, a bad release is felt across the company the same day. That discipline — build what people rely on daily, and make reliability the feature — is the standard Night Engines is run to.

Framing: this page is track record. The Hellas Direct systems were built and shipped by Michael inside the AI lab he set up and ran — that's why we call them client #0; the IBM and Netcompany work came earlier in the same career. Capabilities described elsewhere on this site are capabilities, not client results.
